AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi takes a dig at Singer Sonu Nigam, asks people to understand India's cultural diversity

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi today took a dig at singer Sonu Nigam over his Azaan remarks while addressing a public meeting at Okhla in Delhi.

"When the poor Dalits of Una were striped and beaten up then why wasn't his sleep disturbed at that time. Why does he have a problem with Azaan," said Owaisi.

Asaddudin Owasi said that few people had created a controversy over Azaan which the Muslims perform for two minutes. He said, " Anyone who has a problem with the Azaan should peep out from his



swanky apartment with an open heart and understand the uniqueness of India."

"Before sun rise, prayers are offered in temples, Gurudwara also perform prayers, Church rings its bell and similarly Azaan is performed by muslims. This is the beautiful diversity of India," Owasi said.

Bollywood Singer Sonu Nigam had created controversy after tweeting against the Azaan prayers after which a Maulvi had issued Fatwa against Nigam and the singer was hugely condemned on social media for his tweet.
