Hyderabad: Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) floor leader in Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi has offered to pick up two-year Intermediate fee of students who secure more than 8.5 grade in SSC examination.
He made this offer to boys and girls studying in Owaisi School of Excellence at Riyasat Nagar, Hafizbaba Nagar and Narqi Phool Bagh in old city.
Urging students to come up with good performance, Akbaruddin said that SSC was a stepping stone for higher education. Those faring better in SSC would find pursuing higher education easy.
Inaugurating
three-month long free coaching classes for SSC students at Jamal Colony, Riyasat Nagar, he said wealth, be it in the shape of cash or gold, would end up getting destroyed or robbed, but not knowledge. It would increase with passage of time. “One is not poor if he or she has no money, but the real poor is one who is illiterate,” the Majlis leader said.
In a touching speech, he told students that he had decided to espouse the cause of education. He would go all out to help those interested in learning. He also urged the Majlis workers and others to put in more efforts for the education of the community.
