Akbaruddin Owaisi raised the issue of Metro Rail work in Old City at the Assembly session

As the Chief Minister of Hyderabad, K Chandrasekhar Rao earlier informed in the Assembly that the Metro Rail Work in the Old City areas will begin soon.

AIMIM Floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi raised the issue of Metro Rail in Hyderabad’s Old City and demanded the Telangana government to start the



construction work as soon as possible.

“There were apprehensions by L&T on taking up work on the stretch as some people raised objections and even AIMIM had earlier sought change in its alignment. The CM replied 'I assure them there will be no problem and asked them to start the work immediately.'
