MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi said that neither they nor their descendants would will leave he country. “Our 1000th generation will live here,” he told a massive gathering at Moghalpura on Sunday night.

Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi was reacting to a statement of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who had earlier in the day said the Owaisis would flee, just as the Nizam had done, if the BJP formed government in the state.

“Yogi has no capability to send us to Pakistan. We have lived here and will live here forever. We are not like Vijay Mallaya,  Mehul Choksi or Nirav Modi who fled to London. We

returned from London to face charges and went to jail,” Mr Akbaruddin said.

“We will not leave the country of Khawja Ajmeri and Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Charminar, Jamia Masjid and Macca Masjid,” he said.

“We will fight with you and defeat you,” he added.

Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi challenged the UP Chief Minister. “Come here and see how we compel you to flee from here.”

He criticised the Hindi media for portraying him as an instigator. He said the Hindi media was calling him ‘bhadkao Bhaijaan’.
