All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi said he was confident that the retired judge Ravindra Reddy, who delivered the judgment in the Mecca Masjid blast case, would lose his deposit if he contested elections in Telangana.

“The former judge has decided to contest elections in Telangana. I am confident that the

BJP will give him a ticket and the Supreme leader will bless him. I am sure that Swami Aseemanand and others will campaign for him for his love with the Bharatiya Janata Party,” he said.

Owaisi said the people in Telangana would show their composite culture and ensure that the former judge faced defeat in the elections.
