All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday said that the BJP makes big claims of respecting the Constitution, but President Droupadi Murmu in her address to the joint session of Parliament had not uttered a ‘minority’ word in her speech. The BJP doesn’t understand that they don’t have the mandate... There was no mention of ‘minority’ in the entire President’s speech. Why does the Modi government hate minorities so much, asked Asaduddin in his post on his social media account `X’.

Asaduddin said Murmu referred to BCs, SCs and STs in her speech, but did not make a single reference to

'minorities’. On the burning issue of NEET, Murmu said that the government is fully committed to investigate the recent incidents of paper leaks. But why is the government not admitting its guilt in leakage of question papers and re-conducting the exam as it dealt with the future of 24 lakh students. The NEET entrance paper was leaked in Bihar, Jharkhand and Maharashtra states, he said.

Asaduddin said the government is still acting with arrogance and not showing any concern in regard to the growing unemployment in the country. The Modi government had failed to fulfil the promises made to unemployed youth, he said.
