All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday (July 2) that Muslim youth are being mob lynched. I want to talk about that. He said that the unemployment in the country is such that the youth are having to go to Russia and lose their lives. Owaisi asked the government what is our policy regarding Palestine. During this, he also mentioned the Ram temple .
Asaduddin Owaisi said that today I am speaking on behalf of those people who are visible but no one talks about them. No one even listens to them. I am talking about those about whom Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that they are infiltrators. I am talking about those daughters and mothers about whom it was said that they give birth to more children. I am talking about those youth who are being killed by mob lynching. I am talking about those parents whose children are rotting in jails due to the laws of this government.
Owaisi said that when the constitution was being made, the issue of voter list and reservation on the basis of religion came up. On this, the founders of our constitution had said that we will not agree to this. They had said that it is the responsibility of the majority population to elect on the basis of representation of the minority population. The Hyderabad MP said that BJP wins on the basis of hatred towards Muslims. Those who gain power in the name of Muslims do not even open the doors of Parliament for them.
The Hyderabad MP said that only four percent of the MPs are Muslims. The Constitution is not a book to be kissed and shown. The founders of the Constitution understood democracy in such a way that people from every religion and community should be included to run the country. But only four percent of Muslim MPs win and come to Parliament. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, he said that those who talk about loving the Constitution, I would tell them to read the Constituent Assembly debates once and know what Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Hukum Singh had said about the minorities.
Speaking further on the low number of Muslim MPs in the Parliament, Asaduddin Owaisi said that is this social justice that out of 14% Muslims, only four Muslims win? OBC MPs have now equalled the upper castes. He said that the CSDS survey shows that only upper caste people cast their votes en masse. Muslims never had a vote bank and will
never have one.
The issue of mob lynching in many states in recent times also resonated in the House. Owaisi said that after June 4, six Muslims were mob lynched. In Madhya Pradesh, 11 Muslim houses were demolished with bulldozers. In Himachal Pradesh, a Muslim shop was looted. There is silence from all parties regarding this. It seems that now the time has come that even the word 'Muslim' will be banned. During this, uproar started in the House.
Union Minister of Labour and Employment and BJP leader Mansukh Mandaviya stood up and said that what Owaisi has said should be verified. On this, Owaisi said that the minister had a stomachache. The mandate that Narendra Modi has received is only and only on the basis of hatred towards Muslims. I want to tell the opposition that this is not your moral victory, this is the victory of majoritarianism. He said that are Muslims only meant to vote, are they not meant to be elected? If this is so then he should tell.
Asaduddin Owaisi also talked about unemployment. He said that the situation of unemployment in the country is such that half of the youth of India are unemployed. Due to unemployment, people are going to Russia and giving up their lives there. In the last five years, the lives of 75 lakh candidates have been ruined because six papers were leaked. The situation of unemployment is such that the Modi government is running employment camps to encourage the youth to go to Israel and give up their lives.
The Hyderabad MP also questioned the government about Palestine. He said that 27 tons of weapons are going to Israel. 90 lakh Indians work in Gulf countries. What effect will this have on them? 47 thousand Palestinians have died. What is our policy on Palestine? Owaisi also raised the issue of the alleged murder conspiracy of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. He said who gave the order to Nikhil Gupta to kill Pannu. If it was not given then save him. A committee has been formed on Pannu's case, what has happened to it.
Asaduddin Owaisi ended his speech with a couplet. He said what the days of politics are showing, those who were worthy of being yesterday have become ungrateful. They were so great that they were crowned at the feet of the great. They have become so disgraced that they have ended up in the shoes of the lowly.
