Chandrababu Naidu is a betrayer: Asaduddin Owaisi

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi described Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu as a ‘betrayer’ and said his party will never compromise with the TDP or join the ‘all opposition front’ being planned by N Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing a public meeting here on Saturday night, Owaisi said the whole world knows that Naidu seized power by betraying his father-in-law N T Rama Rao and became Chief Minister in united Andhra Pradesh. “I know you (Naidu) had



betrayed the public many a times and are well aware of it,” he said.

Riots in Gujarat happened when TDP was supporting the then NDA government at the Centre, he recalled and said, “Because of the support of the TDP, Gujarat riots took place.”

The MP said AIMIM would also not support the Congress. “We will not align with them at any cost,” he stated and added that he was never dependent on any political party or was power hungry.
