Ahmedabad: Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi president All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and Hyderabad MP said that Majlis is standing with the people and Majlis will step into the field with practicality to contest in the local and panchayat elections. Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, Majlis president, yesterday attended the meeting in Ahmedabad with the leaders of Gujarat Majlis and party members and announced Majlis new organisation.
Barrister Owaisi said that in politics win and lose is a part but we could not lose our confidence. We will strongly step in the elections and will win.
Majlis President said that Majlis did not win the elections in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand but Majlis did not leave the ground. By-elections are going to be held in Jharkhand, Majlis
will contest there.
During the visit to Ahmedabad, Barrister Owaisi visited the house of party active member Janab Sulaiman and enquired about his health. Sulaiman was injured in the accident and his two legs were fractured. Barrister Owaisi said that he was injured when the Congress workers attacked him when he returned to his home in a vehicle. Barrister Owaisi said that Gujarat Majlis president Janab Sabir Kabuliwala himself. Vice president will be Janab Suleman Haneef Qalandar, Abdul Basheer, Shaikh Kalpesh and Joint Secretary will be Haneef Ansari Advocate, Yousuf Nathu Parmar, Waseem Qureshi, Baba Khan. Gujarat Majlis spokesperson will be Danesh Qureshi and Advocate Awees Malik and will present the party position.
