Owaisi accuses the TPCC chief of harbouring hatred against the Muslims

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday said that the party had staved off the efforts by the BJP and the Congress to spread Hindutva. "It is thanks to MIM that BJP and Congress cannot play fear politics in Telangana," he said.

Addressing a public meeting in Malakpet in support of AIMIM candidate Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, Owaisi accused the TPCC chief of harbouring hatred against the Muslims. I call him the ‘RSS Anna’, and Mohan Bhagwat the RSS chief, has captured Gandhi Bhavan (Telangana Congress headquarters), and controls the state Congress president. He started in the RSS, then



was in BJP and after the elections, he will return to his roots."

Owaisi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said during the Citizenship Amendment Act protests that "the enemies of the Act can be identified by their attire. Now Revanth says Asad wears a sherwani. Those who attack our attire, hate Muslims, then will also attack us."

While Congress tries to spread Hindutva covertly, the BJP, Owaisi said,  spreads hatred, talks about halal, hijab. "In Telangana, it is the MIM’s political acumen that this agenda was not allowed to take root," Owaisi said.
