AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has tied up with TTV Dhinakaran's Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
As part of the seat-sharing deal, Owaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will be contesting on three seats -- Vaniyambadi, Krishnagiri and Shankarapuram.
TTV Dhinakaran took to Twitter and announced the tie-up, saying, "In the alliance led by the AMMK, the
AIMIM party led by Mr Asaduddin Owaisi has been allotted 3 constituencies in Tamil Nadu namely Vaniyambadi, Krishnagiri and Sankarapuram".
TTV Dhinakaran has called a mega meeting on March 12 in Chennai, which will be addressed by Owaisi as well.
TTV Dhinakaran launched his political party AMMK in March 2018 after his aunt Sasikala was expelled from AIADMK after being sentenced to four years in jail in a corruption case.
Do you think AAP will perform better in Delhi polls without alliance?
