AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for proposing a new political front to bring qualitative change in Indian politics. He observed that the Karnataka Assembly results had brought down Muslim representation in the Assembly which is a cause of concern for every political party which believes in diversity and pluralism.
In a series of tweets, Owaisi felt that the BJP was likely to opt for early elections following the Karnataka results and the proposed political front by Chief Minister
Chandrashekhar Rao could be the need of the hour to stall the right-wing forces.
Asad tweeted, “I spoke Mr @hd_kumaraswamy & congratulated him for his party’s victory & Alliance I am sure as Kumaraswamy will discharge his constitutional responsibility in a better way compared to other predecessors & inshallah Karnataka will progress under his leadership. I thank people who voted & also who voted for JDS& BSP. I also thank my opponents who should continue their tirade against me & my party....”
