All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen has urged the A. Revanth Reddy's government to retain Charminar in Telangana’s state emblem by stating that it was a symbol of Telangana’s long history of composite culture.
In an X post, the party also asked the government to take up
developmental works around Charminar to preserve its heritage, including the pedestrianisation Project, road widening works, night bazaar, a parking lot at Charminar bus stand, renovation of Sardar Mahal and Chowk Market and road widening near Gulzar Houz.
