MIM announces Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi as its MLC candidate

The AIMIM, friendly party of the ruling party, yesterday announced Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi as its MLC candidate for the upcoming MLC elections in the MLA quota.

Effendi is corporator from Dabeerpura division of GHMC now. 

Although several leaders of the AIMIM tried hard for the post, party supremo Asaduddin Owaisi zeroed



in on Effendi. The decision to field Effendi has been taken by the party following the announcement of the TRS that it was leaving the fifth MLC seat for the MIM. The TRS has already announced the names of its four MLC candidates. They are Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Satyavati Rathod, Sheri Subash Reddy and Egge Mallesham.
