MIM releases the first list of candidates for Telangana Assembly elections

The party switched its candidates in Charminar and Yakutpura constituencies from the 2014 elections. Back then it fielded Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri from Charminar and Mumtaz Khan from Yakutpura. This time round, Mumtaz Khan will contest from



Charminar and Quadri from Yakutpura.

The other five names in the AIMIM list will contest from their existing constituencies where they won from in the last elections. Akbaruddin Owaisi returns to the poll fray from Chandrayangutta, Mohd Moazam Khan from Bahadurpura, Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala from Malakpet, Jaffer Hussein Meraj from Nampally and Kausar Mohiuddin from Karwan.
