The AIMIM is all set to field candidates in this ensuing elections to the Bidar Municipal Council, which are likely to be held next month.
Party president Asaduddin Owaisi has appointed senior party leader Mohammed Ghouse and Shalibanda corporator Mohammed Mustafa Ali as in charge representatives. They left for Bidar on Friday and will hold meetings along with
party leaders and functionaries.
Of the 35 wards of the Bidar municipality, AIMIM has won three in the 2013 elections from the eight it had contested. This time, MIM party may field more candidates. The ward delimitation work has been completed and the government has sought claims and objections on it.
