Google India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government, with an aim to support the digitisation of efforts made by Telangana. To boost the eligible startups engaged with the Telangana government’s T-Hub, Google India will provide Google Cloud credits and access to all cloud platform products, through its Developer Relations team.
This team will provide technical mentorship and advisory support to various startups. These developments were released by the Telangana government. The MoU was signed yesterday between Telangana’s IT and Industries
Minister KT Rama Rao and Google India representatives.
According to the MoU, various initiatives as part of the agreement were taken, which includes making all government websites mobile friendly. It will also introduce programmes to help local small and medium businesses go e-way and secured online. Google India will also be introducing Android Fundamentals courses for students in Telangana who are pursuing engineering and MCA (Master of Computer Application) so as to furnish their skills on mobile app development.
