16.47 Lakh New Workers Enrolled Under ESI Scheme In The Month Of April, 2024

16 lakh 47 thousand new workers have been enrolled under ESI scheme in April this year. The Ministry of Labour and Employment has informed that around 18 thousand 490 new establishments have been brought under the social security ambit of the ESI scheme in the



same month ensuring social security to more workers. It said that seven lakh 84 thousand employees belong to the age group of upto 25 years while net enrolment of female members were three lakh 38 thousand.
