27 States Benefit from Production-Linked Incentive Scheme under Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative: Government

The Government yesterday said that 27 states in the country have taken the benefit of the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme under the Atmanibhar Bharat initiative. Replying to the supplementaries in Lok Sabha, Commerce Minister Piyush Goel said that now 65 per cent of components



of AC are being produced in the country which is a positive outcome. He said that the PLI scheme was giving positive results and the subsidy was also left under the scheme which is why the government has opened the window again.
