West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the 8th Global Bengal Business Summit at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in New Town, Kolkata yesterday. The Chief Minister highlighted the multiple possibilities of the state and the new industry-friendly policies and urged investors to invest in the state. She announced the formation of a State Level Industrial Coordination Committee under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to resolve all issues related to investment in the industry. that the work of basalt mining in the Deucha Pachami mine project of the state will start from today. .
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Bhutanese Minister Yoson Phoonso along with more than 200 delegates from 40 countries and 25 ambassadors and High Commission members were present during the inaugural session. Industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Sajjan Jindal, Sanjiv Goyanka, FICCI President Harshvardhan Agarwal, announced new investments in the state.
