Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos overtakes Bill Gates to become world's richest man

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has topped the 2018 Forbes World's Billionaires list, dethroning Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who slipped to 2nd spot.

According to the

list, Bezos' estimated fortune is at USD 112 billion, way ahead of Gates' $90 billion. Bezos's fortune is up $39.2 billion from 2017, the biggest one-year gain in the list's 32-year history.
