Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, has expressed confidence that the auto component sector will reach the 100 billion dollar export target by 2030. He stated this while addressing the 64th annual session of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) in New Delhi yesterday. 

The Union Minister also lauded the Indian auto component manufacturers for their Make in India initiative and for helping the industry become a global



one-stop solution for all automotive needs. He emphasized that the government is committed to making India Viksit Bharat by 2047 and expressed confidence that, with collective commitment, the country’s growth trajectory will only be upward. Addressing the event, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, said that production-linked incentive schemes introduced by the government in electronics and automobiles are performing better.
