Pune: BMW, India’s second biggest German luxury car maker, on Thursday introduced a new limited-edition version of the BMW Z4 roadster with a starting price of Rs 96.90 lakh at pan India showroom. This imported BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse model features a six-speed manual transmission option alongside the eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The BMW Z4 Pure Impulse Edition comes equipped with M light alloy wheels with 19-inch rims at the front and 20-inch at the rear, M Sport brake calipers painted in red metallic, a high gloss shadow line and black ORVMs.
Inside, the Z4 gets a new leather Vernessa cognac upholstery, high gloss black trim, M sports seats
and an M leather steering wheel. The soft top can be raised or lowered in 10 seconds. Other features include 2-zone automatic climate control, adaptive LED headlights, high beam assist, parking assistant, a head-up display, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six-cylinder petrol engine from BMW's Efficient Dynamics range, producing 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The manual version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, while the automatic version does it in 4.5 seconds.
