BSNL prepaid sims not to be discontinued till April 20: Ravi Shankar Prasad

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad yesterday said that prepaid sims of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, BSNL will not be discontinued till 20th April.

Interacting with the Chief Postmaster General and Chief General Manager of BSNL of all the States and Union Territories through video conferencing, Mr Prasad said, BSNL is working



hard to ensure that the phone linkage remains active during this time. He said, for outgoing calls, ten rupees incentive has been provided automatically from Monday, so that poor people and needy people continue to work. Mr Prasad said, postal department is sending lot of money order to poor people.
