Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) chairman Sanjay Kumar Agarwal yesterday launched four new initiatives to enhance taxpayer services. These four citizen-centric initiatives include a revised citizen’s charter, a revamped citizen’s corner for complete tax-related information, an ease of doing business tab for making suggestions, and CBIC archives for tax repository.   



 

Speaking at the occasion, Mr Agarwal said that these initiatives are a testament to CBIC’s unwavering commitment to simplifying tax processes and fostering a culture of transparency and trust. He said that by empowering taxpayers and incorporating their suggestions, they are creating a system that is not only efficient but also reflective of citizens’ needs and aspirations
