New Delhi: The Delhi High Court yesterday dismissed a PIL against RBI's decision to withdraw currency notes of 2000 rupees denomination from circulation. A bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad dismissed the plea filed by an

advocate.

The court said that this decision of the Government is purely a policy decision and Courts should not sit as an Appellate Authority over the decision taken by the government.
