The consumer price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will become costlier by 90 paise per kg in Delhi and one rupee in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The new rate will come into effect from midnight on April 1.
Indraprastha Gas Limited, in a release said, the consumer will now have to pay 40 rupees 61 paise per kg in Delhi and 47 rupees and 5 paise in its adjoining areas for CNG.With the objective to boost CNG refueling during non-peak hours, a discount of one rupees 50 paise per kg will continue between 12 midnight to 5 AM at select
outlets.
IGL has also announced increase in its domestic PNG prices from today. The consumer price of PNG to households in Delhi has been increased by one rupees 15 paise per Standard Cubic Meters (SCM) and one rupee 20 paise in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
In Delhi, it will now cost 27 rupees 14 paise per SCM and 28 rupees 84 paise in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
The company said, the revision in retail prices of CNG and domestic PNG has been effected after taking into account the overall impact on the cost.
