Diesel prices have touched a record high of 61(point)74 rupees per litre and petrol prices have crossed 71 rupees as international oil rates continue to rally. According to daily fuel price list of state-owned oil firms, Petrol price rose to 71.18 rupees per litre in Delhi yesterday, the highest since August 2014.

Prices have been on the rise since December 12, 2017.Two of the most traded benchmark crude globally have risen the most since December 2014 - Brent touched 70.05 dollars a barrel last week and WTI reached 64.77 dollars.
