EPFO Adds 18.92 Lakh Net Members In April

Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has recorded the highest addition of 18 lakh 92 thousand net members in April this year. Ministry of Labour and Employment informed that the surge in membership can be attributed to various factors, including increased employment opportunities. 

The data indicates that around eight lakh



87 thousand new members have enrolled during April this year. A noticeable aspect of the data is the dominance of the 18 to 25 age group, constituting a significant 55.50 percent. The payroll data unveils that out of eight lakh 87 thousand new members, around two lakh 49 thousand are new female members.
