New Delhi: Employees Provident Fund Organization has decided to provide 8.10 per cent rate of interest to its subscribers in the fiscal year 2021-22. The apex decision body of EPFO has taken this decision on Saturday in the 230th meeting of Central Board of Trustees. The Central Board recommended that 8.10 per cent annual rate of interest to be credited in

subscribers accounts.

Labour and Employment Ministry has said, the returns on EPFO’s investments are higher even when the yields have been steadily coming down in the past decade. The assured fixed return every year along with the tax exemptions makes it an attractive savings option for the subscribers.
