FM Nirmala Sitharaman lauds Digital India initiative

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that digital payment in India accounts for 40 percent of the world digital transactions.

In a tweet yesterday, the Finance Minister lauded the Digital India initiative. She said,

the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked towards strengthening the digital banking and payments ecosystem across the country in the last eight years.
