Foreign investors pumped in over Rs 35,100 crore into the Indian capital markets so far in November on encouraging corporate earnings and reform measures announced by the government.
Foreign portfolio investors, or FPIs, invested Rs 29,436
crore in equities and Rs 5,673 crore in the debt segment during the November 2 and 13 period, taking the net investment into the Indian capital market to 35,109 crore. FPIs had pumped in Rs 22,033 crore last month.
