Foreign investors pumped in over Rs. 15,000 crore into the Indian equity markets so far in June.
This comes after two months of continuous net withdrawals by the overseas investors.
Foreign investors pumped in Rs. 15,282 crore into equities between the June 1 and 25 period, but withdrew
Rs. 2,568 crore from the debt segment, taking the total net inflows to Rs. 12,714 crore during the period under review.
According to the depositories data, Foreign Portfolio Investors, or FPIs, had pulled out Rs. 2,666 crore in May and Rs. 9,435 crore in April.
