Gold prices slipped yesterday in the futures market. The precious metal for the June contracts was lower by 274 rupees or 0.38 percent, trading at 71,095 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for July contracts were down by 260 rupees or 0.31 percent, trading at 82,695 rupees per kilogram, when the reports
last came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading 0.40 percent lower at 2,321 dollars and 90 cents per ounce on Comex. Silver was trading 0.54 percent down at 27 dollars and 47 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
