Gold price on Thursday rose marginally by 89 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at around 55,000 rupees per 10 gram. Silver was also up 165 rupees to trade around 62,000 rupees per kilogram for May Contracts when
reports last came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,823 dollars and 20 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up at 20 dollars 18 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
