Gold prices yesterday rose 30 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was trading at 60,275 rupees per 10 grams. While silver was down 130 rupees to trade at 72,460 rupees per kilogram for July Contracts when reports last came



in.

In the global markets, gold was trading down at 1,991 dollars and 90 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also down to trade around 23 dollars 85 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
