Gold price yesterday rose 190 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was trading at around 61,140 rupees per 10 gram. Silver also rose marginally by 45 rupees to trade around 74,690 rupees per kilogram for May
Contracts.
In the global markets, gold was trading higher at 2,039 dollars and 90 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was trading down at 24 dollars 90 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
