Gold Slips in Domestic Markets, Silver Up

Yesterday, gold was trading down at the Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was down 156 rupees to trade at 62,036 rupees per ten gram. Silver futures for March contracts were up 60 rupees to trade at 74,584 rupees per kilogram when reports last came



in.

In the global markets, gold was trading with gains. The precious metal was trading at 2,036 dollars and 30 cents per ounce at COMEX. Silver was also trading up at 24 dollars and 24 cents per ounce in the intra-day trade when reports last came in.
