Gold up by Rs 225 to Rs 54,110 per 10 grams

New Delhi: Gold on Monday rose 225 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was trading at 54,110 rupees per 10 grams.

Silver also gained 380 rupees to trade at 66,830 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when



reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading down at 1,807 US dollars and 90 cents per ounce. Silver was also down at 23 dollars and 20 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
