Yesterday, gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was up 70 rupees to trade at 60,980 rupees per ten grams. However, silver futures for December contracts were down by 245 rupees to trade at 71,155 rupees per kilo when reports last
came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,998 dollars and 20 cents per ounce at New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up at 23 dollars and 13 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
