Govt extends stock limit on onion till March next year

The Centre has extended the date of stock limit of onion for further three months to 31st of March, 2018. In a tweet, Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said, the decision has been taken to check



the hoarding of onion. 

It also aims at curbing the rising prices of the kitchen staple. Earlier, the date of the stock limit of onion was 31st of this month.
