Gross personal income tax collection during last FY is over nine lakh 60 thousand crore rupees: CBDT

The refunds of over three lakh seven thousand crore rupees have been issued in 2022-23 showing an increase of over 37 per cent over the refunds issued in 2021-22. Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT has said that the gross personal income tax collection during the last financial year is at over nine lakh 60



thousand crore rupees and has shown a growth of over 24 per cent over the preceding year.
