Gandhinagar: In Gujarat, the state government today announced to procure toor, chana, and mustard at minimum support price from 10th of March across the state. The purchase will be started at 425 centers across the state from March 10 for 90 days.

Briefing the media in Gandhinagar yesterday, state agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel said the farmers can register themselves for free of cost on



E Gram Centres between February 1 and February 28. Mr. Patel added that the state government will procure 25 quintals of grains per day from the farmers. 

This year, the Minimum support price of Pigeon peas i.e. toor is Rs 6,600 rupees per quintal, Chana will be procured at the rate of Rs 5,335, and mustard at the rate of Rs 5,450 per quintal.
