India Starts Its Latest Auction Of 5G Spectrum Waves Valued At More Than Rs 96,000 Cr

India started its latest auction of 5G Spectrum Waves valued at more than 96 thousand Crore Rupees. The auction started on 3rd July 2024, will cover 8 Bands, wherein major Telecom players will pitch in to secure vital radio frequencies essential for 5G mobile services.

In the last Spectrum Auction held



in August 2022, the Government has received a record 1.5 Lakh Crore Rupees.

This time government is offering 10.5 Gigahertz of 5G airwaves on sale which is below the 72 Gigahertz offered in the country’s first. 5G spectrum auction of July 2022.
