New Delhi: India’s coal sector has recorded highest ever production of over 223 million tonnes in the April - June quarter of 2023-24. Ministry of Coal said, that Coal India Limited has marked a commendable growth rate of more than 9 percent during the April to June quarter of



2023.

 

The Ministry added, there is a substantial growth of more than 8 percent in the production which highlights India's commitment to meet its energy demands and drive sustainable economic growth.
