The country's infrastructure sector grew 3.2 per cent in August this year, year-on-year. The infrastructure sector had grown 3 per cent in July this year, and 3.2 percent in August last year.
According to official data, steel sector production surged 17 percent in August this year, refinery production grew 3.5 per
cent, fertilizer output increased 5.7 percent, cement output rose 3.1 percent, and electricity generation grew 0.1 per cent during the month.
But coal sector output dropped 9.2 percent in August this year, crude oil output fell 3.9 percent, and natural gas production declined 5.7 per cent during the month.
