Jeep launches Meridian X Special Edition

Pune: Jeep, the American iconic car brand, on Wednesday introduced the Jeep Meridian X Special Edition in the Indian market priced at Rs 29.99 lakh at pan India showroom. The refreshed SUV gets minor cosmetic enhancements along with additional features. It is positioned between the Limited O and Overland versions of the SUV. Stellantis, the automobile giant with 14 car brands, is present in India through Jeep and Citroen brands, has invested over 1 billion euros in India till date.

At present, Jeep sells Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Compass and Meridian model vehicles manufactured in India. “The Jeep Meridian X reflects our dedication to constantly innovate and elevate the driving experiences for our customers,” said Kumar Priyesh, Brand Director of Jeep India. epitomizes the inherent duality of the SUV, seamlessly transitioning from conquering rugged off-road terrain to commanding attention on urban streets.

The Jeep Meridian X features body-coloured lowers, a grey roof and alloy wheels with grey highlights. Inside, the SUV gets add-ons like puddle lamps, programmable ambient lighting, sunshades, an air purifier, a dash cam, side moulding and premium mats. Customers also get the option of a rear-seat entertainment package. The Jeep Meridian is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 160 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV sprints from 0-100 km/h in 10.8 seconds and can attain a top speed of 198 km/h.
