More than 31.56 cr accounts opened so far under PMJDY

Government yesterday claimed that more than 31 point 56 crore accounts have been opened so far under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY).

Jan Dhan Accounts have been opened in the rural areas whereas 53 per cent of accounts belong to women.

According to the tweet the balance in the accounts on 2nd May 2018 was 81,3017 crores rupees.
