Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded a growth of 40 per cent in GST collection during the month of February in the current financial year against the collection of February last year.

The State has collected more than 1,712 crore rupees GST in the last month against the collection of about 1,223 crore rupees during February 2022, according to an official statement.

The State has



also recorded a growth of more than 10 % in Gross GST with a collection of more than 4519 Crore rupees during February 2023 which is the second-highest Gross collection of all time.

It is learnt that the GST Commissionerate is taking steps for increasing the taxpayer base with registration of about 46 thousand new taxpayers during the current Financial Year.
