Oil prices rose yesterday recouping some of last week’s more than 7 per cent decline on worries about demand in China, the world’s top oil importer.

Brent crude was up around two per cent at 74 dollars and



47 cents per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude was trading more than two per cent higher at 70 dollars and 77 a barrel when the reports last came in.
